Ingredients

0.5 tsp. salt
60 grams butter
225 grams plain flour
3 tsp. baking powder


30 grams caster sugar
150 ml milk


1  egg, beaten


Instructions

STEP 1/4

Fit the K beater to the machine.

Pre heat the oven to 220ºC.

STEP 2/4

Add Ingredients 1 (salt, butter, flour, baking powder) into the Mixer bowl.

Attach the Mixer bowl to the machine and fit the splash guard.

Mix on speed 1 for about 2 minutes or until coarse crumbs form.

STEP 3/4

Add Ingredients 2 (caster sugar, milk) into the Mixer bowl.

Mix on speed Max for 20 seconds.

STEP 4/4

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured worksurface.

Roll out until about 3 cm thick.

Cut out 5 cm rounds and place on the baking tray.

Brush with Ingredients 3 (egg).

Bake for 18 minutes at 220ºC.

Leave to cool on a wire rack.

Serve.
