Quick Chicken Bhuna

Ingredients

2  olive oil


1 tsp. cumin seeds
1 tsp. nigella seeds
1 tsp. coriander seeds


700 grams chicken thighs


300 grams onion
20 grams garlic cloves
20 grams ginger
1  fresh chilli
2  tomato purée
200 grams cherry tomatoes


1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. garam masala
2  bay leaves
1 tsp. curry powder


  mint, as needed
  coriander, as needed


Instructions

STEP 1/8

Cut the chicken into 2 cm cubes.

Peel, trim and finely chop the onions and garlic cloves.

Peel and finely chop the fresh chilli.

Halve the cherry tomatoes.

Destalk the mint and coriander.

STEP 2/8

Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield.

Fit the Stir Tool and Stir Assist Clip to the machine.

STEP 3/8

Attach the Cooking Chef bowl to the machine.

Add Ingredients 1 (oil) into the Cooking Chef bowl, fit the splash guard.

Cook at 140ºC on speed Stir 1 for 2 minutes.

STEP 4/8

Add Ingredients 2 (seeds) to the bowl.

Cook at 140ºC on speed Stir 1 for 4 minutes.

STEP 5/8

Add Ingredients 3 (chicken thigh) to the bowl.

Cook at 140ºC on speed Stir 1 for 5 minutes.

STEP 6/8

Add Ingredients 4 (onion, garlic, ginger, chilli, purée, tomatoes) to the bowl.

Cook at 120ºC on speed Stir 1 for 5 minutes.

STEP 7/8

Add Ingredients 5 (salt, coriander, paprika, masala, bay leaves, curry powder) to the bowl.

Cook at 100 on speed Stir 2 for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

STEP 8/8

Add Ingredients 6 (mint, coriander) to the bowl.

Mix on speed Stir 1 for 30 seconds.

Serve.
