Chocolate and Peanut Butter Granola Bars

Ingredients

135 grams oats


60 ml honey
65 grams peanut butter


200 grams pitted dates
40 grams pecan pieces
40 grams peanuts
40 grams dark chocolate chips


20 grams dark chocolate chips


Instructions

STEP 1/6

Soak and finely chop the pitted dates.

Coarsely chop the pecan pieces and the peanuts.

STEP 2/6

Fit the K beater to the machine.

Pre heat the oven to 180ºC.

Grease the square tin.

STEP 3/6

Add Ingredients 1 (oats) to the baking tray.

Bake for 10 minutes at 180ºC.

Let cool.

STEP 4/6

Add Ingredients 2 (honey, peanut butter) into the saucepan.

Heat over a medium heat until melted.

Transfer the contents of the saucepan into the Mixer bowl.

STEP 5/6

Add Ingredients 3 (dates, pecan pieces, peanuts, chocolate chips) into the Mixer bowl.

Attach the Mixer bowl to the machine and fit the splash guard.

Mix on speed 4 for 1 minute.

Transfer the contents of the Mixer bowl to the square tin and spread firmly and evenly.

STEP 6/6

Sprinkle Ingredients 4 (chocolate chips) into the square tin.

Using a spatula, press the chocolate chips into the mixture.

Chill in the fridge for 1 hour.

Slice.

Serve.
