Ingredients

Servings: 4
Makes: 1

300 g water
7 g dried yeast
500 g plain flour
2 tsp salt

To finish
  plain flour, as needed


Instructions

STEP 1/3

Fit the Dough Tool
Add water and yeast into the appliance bowl
Let rest for 5 minutes
Then add flour and salt
Select the Dough preset
Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured work surface and knead lightly
Place the dough in a clean bowl and cover with a kitchen towel
Prove until doubled in size for 1 hour.

STEP 2/3

Flour a baking tray
Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured work surface
Gently pull the edges into the centre
Roll the dough over and shape into a round loaf
Place the dough on the baking tray and cover with a kitchen towel
Prove for 30 minutes.

STEP 3/3

Preheat the oven to 220°C
Use a sharp knife or blade to make slashes on the surface of the dough
Bake for 25 minutes at 220°C
Remove from the oven and let cool.

 

Serve.
