Lasagne roller attachment

Effortlessly turn your homemade fresh pasta dough into silky smooth sheets of pasta with the lasagne roller attachment - no rolling pin required. Choose from ten adjustable thickness settings as you feed your dough through the durable stainless steel rollers, ready for cooking or cutting.

Roll your freshly made pasta sheets around a tasty chicken, butternut squash, mascarpone and basil filling to make this crowd-pleasing chicken pesto roll up lasagne. Or use the attachment to press basil leaves into your dough to create this stunning herb laced pasta. The herbs add an extra layer of flavour to any dish, and it’s a great way to add interest to homemade ravioli or tortellini.

But when it comes to using this versatile attachment, it goes beyond pasta. You can also use it to roll out fondant icing or make soft tacos, chapatis, gyoza wrappers or crackers.

Spaghetti attachment

With its long thin strands that sauces love to cling to, spaghetti is a classic pasta shape that can be used to create anything from a quick and easy midweek meal for the whole family to something truly special. The spaghetti attachment cuts your rolled sheets of pasta into smooth, perfectly consistent spaghetti noodles, just ready to be teamed with your favourite sauces.

Spaghetti’s versatility makes it a household favourite the world over, but it works best with oil, butter or cream based sauces, like a traditional spaghetti alla carbonara, which teams a silky cheese sauce with garlic and smoked pancetta.

Ravioli maker attachment

Impress your guests with some delicious homemade sweet or savoury ravioli. It couldn’t be simpler to make with the ravioli maker attachment.

Just add your chosen filling to the hopper, using the plastic spoon to gently press it down to ensure each individual ravioli is properly filled with ingredients, rather than air bubbles. Then use the manual dial to feed your rolled pasta sheets through the attachment. The filling is drawn from the hopper above, and the attachment indents each sheet with easy to tear perforated edges, ready for resting and cooking.

Try this crab ravioli recipe, which combines a creamy crabmeat and ricotta filling with a sage butter sauce to deliver a sun-kissed taste of Italy.

Pasta making tips

  • While you can use all-purpose flour to make pasta dough, traditionally ‘00’ flour is used. Its high gluten content and super fine grind means it is less prone to breaking up when its being rolled or cut, and it produces a silkier, smoother dough.
  • Use the lasagne roller attachment to roll out your pasta dough to your required thickness before using the other attachments to cut or shape. It’s much quicker and easier than rolling by hand, and you’ll get more consistent results.
  • Use salted boiling water when cooking fresh pasta for a fuller flavoured dish- unless you’re cooking sweet ravioli, in which case add some sugar to the water instead.
  • Uncooked fresh pasta can be frozen for future meals. Sheets should be dusted with flour and separated with lining paper to prevent them sticking together, while cut pasta should be dusted with flour and laid out flat on a baking sheet in a single layer, or use a drying rack, to air dry. Then place in an airtight container and freeze. Cook from frozen- just allow for a longer cooking time.
