Cranberry and Raisin Flapjacks

Ingredients

Servings: 16
Makes: 16 Pieces
For the syrup
125 g sugar
125 g butter
3 Tbsp golden syrup

For the dry ingredients
250 g oats
50 g dried apricots
50 g raisins
50 g dried cranberries
2 Tbsp linseeds


Tools

  • K-Beater

Utensils

  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Square cake tin

Instructions

STEP 1/4

Grease the square tin.

STEP 2/4

Fit the K-Beater to the machine.

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

STEP 3/4

Add butter, sugar and syrup into the saucepan.

Heat until all the ingredients are combined, stirring frequently.

Set aside.

STEP 4/4

Add oats, apricots, raisins, cranberries and linseeds into the Mixer bowl.

Transfer the contents of the saucepan to the Mixer bowl.

Attach the Mixer bowl to the machine and fit the splashguard.

Mix on speed 2 for 2 minutes.

Transfer the contents of the Mixer bowl into the square tin and gently pat.

Use a knife to score out squares.

Bake for 15 minutes at 180ºC until golden brown.

Leave to cool on a wire rack.

Cut.
