40 g butter, cubed, softened
40 g plain flour
500 ml milk
1 tsp salt
0.25 tsp white pepper
0.25 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

STEP 1/5

Fit the Creaming Beater.

STEP 2/5

Add butter into the Appliance bowl, fit the splashguard.
Heat – 1 minute, 95ºC, speed Stir 1.
Then add flour.
Cook – 3 minutes, 95ºC, speed Stir 1.

STEP 3/5

While the machine is running, add milk into the Appliance bowl.
Cook until thickened – 8 minutes, 90ºC, speed Stir 1.

STEP 4/5

Then add salt, pepper and nutmeg.

STEP 5/5

Mix – 20 seconds, speed Stir 1.
