Chocolate and Fruit Smoothie Bowl

Start your day with a quick and satisfying bowl of chocolate smoothie. Topped with fruit, chia seeds and coconut flakes, this creamy peanut-butter flavoured breakfast is healthy and tasty.

Ingredients

Servings: 2
Makes:
For decoration
1  banana, peeled
6  strawberries, hulled

For the smoothie
200 g banana, peeled, sliced, frozen
3 Tbsp peanut butter
2 Tbsp dark cocoa powder
300 ml soy milk

To finish
20  blueberries
1 tsp chia seeds
2 tsp toasted coconut flakes


Instructions

STEP 1/5

Assemble the Food Processor attachment to the machine.
Fit the Adjustable Slicing Disc, adjust the setting to 5, attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place.

STEP 2/5

Slice banana on speed Min into the Food Processor bowl.
Transfer the sliced banana into a medium bowl and set aside.

STEP 3/5

Adjust the Adjustable Slicing Disc setting to 3.
Slice strawberries on speed Min into the Food Processor bowl.
Transfer the sliced strawberries into the medium bowl and set aside.

STEP 4/5

Retrieve, clean the Food Processor bowl and fit the Knife Blade.
Assemble the Food Processor attachment to the machine.
Add frozen banana, peanut butter, dark cocoa powder and soy milk into the Food Processor bowl.
Attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place.
Blend until smooth for 30 seconds, speed 2.

STEP 5/5

Divide the smoothie between two serving bowls.
Top with the sliced banana and strawberries.
Garnish with blueberries, chia seeds and toasted coconut flakes.
