American Style Pancakes

Top these fluffy pancakes with fruit and syrup, chocolate spread, or ice cream.

Ingredients

325 grams plain flour
50 grams caster sugar
1.5  baking powder
0.5 tsp. bicarbonate of soda
0.5 tsp. salt


4  egg
150 grams buttermilk
225 grams whole milk
2  butter


  blueberries, as needed
  maple syrup, as needed


Instructions

STEP 1/5

Melt the butter.

STEP 2/5

Fit the K beater to the machine.

STEP 3/5

Add Ingredients 1 (flour, sugar, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, salt) into the Mixer bowl.

Attach the Mixer bowl to the machine and fit the splash guard.

Mix on speed Min for about 10 seconds.

STEP 4/5

Add Ingredients 2 (egg, buttermilk, milk, butter) to the jug.

Beat together.

Start the machine on speed 1.

Carefully pour half of the content of the jug.

Mix until combined.

Increase the speed to speed 2.

Add the rest of the wet ingredients.

Mix until combined.

Increase the speed to speed 3 and mix for about 30 seconds.

Heat a frying pan over a medium low heat.

Spoon about 3 tablespoons of mixture into the pan and swirl into a pancake shape.

Cook for 2 minutes or until bubbles begin to form.

Flip the pancake and cook for 1 more minute.

Keep the pancakes wam while the rest cook.

Serve.

Serve with syrup and blueberries.
