Breadsticks

A basic recipe for breadsticks perfect served with dip at a party. You can add sesame or poppy seeds by sprinkling them on just before baking.

Ingredients

250 grams plain flour
1  olive oil
1  water
1  dried yeast
0.5 tsp. salt


Instructions

STEP 1/2

Fit the Spiral dough tool to the machine.

STEP 2/2

Add Ingredients (flour, oil, water, yeast, salt) into the Mixer bowl.

Attach the Mixer bowl to the machine and fit the splash guard.

Mix on speed 1 for 2 minutes.

Mix on speed 2 for 8 minutes.

Cover with a tea towel.

Leave to prove for 30 minutes.

Pre heat the oven to 200ºC.

Grease the baking tray.

Transfer the dough from the Mixer bowl to a lightly floured worksurface.

Divide the dough into 25 equal pieces.

Roll each piece innto 25 cm long breadsticks and place them onto the baking tray.

Spray the dough with a little water.

Let rest for 10 minutes.

Bake for 15 minutes at 200ºC.

Serve.
