Will a hand blender suit my needs?

Hand blenders are very versatile tools - they are easy to use and easy to store. The main attachment is for blending small amounts, but many come with a whisk attachment for whisking light creams and making mayonnaise. They are designed to be used for quick tasks.

Some hand blenders in our range come with a mini chopper, which offer you the ability to chop without liquidising, for example for salsa and dips. Some models also include a masher attachment for deliciously smooth mashed potatoes - other cooked vegetables can be mashed as well.

The Soup XL pan blender, where supplied, can be used directly in the pan after the cooking process, although extra care should always be taken when working with hot ingredients.
