Kcook Multi Smart

My kCook Multi Smart cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network.

When connecting your appliance to the Wi-Fi network, make sure you have your network name (SSID) and password ready (remember: passwords are case sensitive).

Connection issues can happen for a number of reasons:

  • Check your Wi-Fi router is switched on and connected to the internet.
  • Check with your Wi-Fi network provider for any service issues.
  • Make sure your Wi-Fi router is within range of your appliance.
  • Reset your Wi-Fi router. Important: Resetting your router will restore it to factory settings and any customisations will be lost (changes to network name, password, etc.) and you may have to reconnect any devices or appliances previously connected to it.
  • Ensure that your router is operating on a 2.4GHz band (check with the manufacturer's instructions for how to do this).
  • If you have a hidden network, you will need to check the manufacturer's instructions in order to broadcast the network name (SSID).
  • If you are trying to connect to a captive portal (such as hotel's Wi-Fi network), you will need to contact the network administrator with the appliance's MAC address. To find the MAC address:
  1. When the appliance is in stand-by mode, press the increase (+) button for 3 seconds.
  2. Use the (+) and (-) buttons to scroll through the menu until MAC is displayed.

If the problem persists, please contact Customer Support for assistance.
