How to use my PureJuice XL

Cut down on prep time by feeding whole pieces directly in the XL feed tube, extract maximum juice and nutrients and collect the dry pulp for sweet and savoury recipes. Get creative with your favourite flavours and follow these hints and tips for a great experience with your new PureJuiceXL. • Use fresh fruit and vegetables as they contain more juice. • Wash all fruit and vegetable thoroughly before juicing. • To extract the maximum amount of juice, always push the food down slowly using the pusher. Do not use excessive force as the food should be pulled down by the scroll. • Hard foods are best juiced at room temperature. • You do not have to remove thin peels or skins. Only remove thick peels that you would not eat e.g. those of oranges, pineapples, melons and beetroot. • Remove stones and hard seeds from cherries, nectarines, peaches, mangoes, plums etc. • If you need to store the juice for a few hours put it in the fridge. It will keep better if you add a few drops of lemon juice.

My PureJuice XL does not operate. I try to juice and it doesn’t start

If your PureJuice XL does not operate when you turn the power on, it may be possible that the machine is not attached to any power source. Please make sure that the appliance is plugged in correctly. If the appliance still does not operate, it could be that the juicing bowl is not properly aligned on the power unit or the lid is not locked correctly. Please check that all parts are fitted correctly.

My PureJuice XL stopped during normal operation. What can I do?

If your PureJuice XL stops whilst in use, it may be because one of the following has occurred: 1- The food inserted inside the feed tube, filter or at the top of the scroll has clogged. This may occur if the food has not been cut into enough small pieces. Please press the reverse button for 3-5 seconds. Repeat the process 2-3 times until the blockage has cleared. DO NOT attempt to open the lid by force. Switch off the machine, unplug and remove the lid, and check if any clogging is visible and if necessary remove the food. Now you can continuing juicing. 2- The juicer is overloaded or overheated due to heavy loads. If this is the case, switch your machine off, unplug and take the juicer apart. Clear and reassemble the juicer. Plug in and press the \'Reset\' button, hold for 1-2 seconds and start operation as normal. as normal.

Juice is leaking from underneath the bowl on my PureJuice XL.

If you see some leakage from underneath the bowl, it is possible that the pulp stopper is not fitted properly or it has come loose during operation. Please adjust the pulp outlet if necessary.

Question 6

Juice does not exit the juicing outlet on my PureJuice XL.

If no juice is coming out from the juicing outlet, it may be because the anti-drip stopper is closed. Please remove the stopper in order to allow the juice to flow into the juice container.

There is too much pulp coming out in the juice on my PureJuice XL.

If your juice has too much pulp in it, it may be that the filter or scroll is clogged. Some fruits and vegetables are more fibrous than others and they may wrap easily around the scroll. Try to cut the food you want to process into smaller pieces, especially the fibrous ones.

There is some staining on PureJuice XL juicing parts. How can I wash them?

If you start to notice some staining on your juicing parts, it is due to the natural colouring from food. Please try to rub each part with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil. This procedure will help to remove discolouration.

I hear a squeaking noise when juicing on my PureJuice. What can I do?

Accepted Answer

If you hear a squeaking noise when juicing, it is completely normal. The sound is made from the friction between ingredients and bowl.

How much juice can be contained in the juice jugs?

Accepted Answer

The PureJuice XL can contain approximately 600 ml of fresh juice inside its juice jug. The PureJuicePro can contain 1,5L of juice inside the juice jug and the PureJuice JMP600 1,3L.
