Ingredients

100 g unsalted butter, cubed, softened
100 g golden caster sugar
1  egg
275 g plain flour
1 Tbsp milk

Instructions

STEP 1/2

Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Fit the splashguard, then fit the K-Beater.
Add butter and sugar into the Appliance bowl.
Mix for 2 minutes on speed 2, until combine.
Add egg, flour and milk.
Mix for 1 minute on speed 2, until a dough has formed.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.

STEP 2/2

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface.
Roll out using a rolling pin until 5 mm thick.
Cut out the dough using the cutter.
Bake the cookies for 10 minutes at 190°C, until the edges are just set but the middles are still soft.
Remove from the oven and let cool on a cooling rack.

 

To serve
Decorate with icing as desired.
