Salted Caramel Popcorn Squares

Ingredients

70 grams salted popcorn
50 grams rice krispies
50 grams pretzel pieces


320 grams caster sugar
80 grams water
170 ml whipping cream
150 grams mini marshmallows


50 grams dark chocolate


Instructions

STEP 1/5

Melt the chocolate.

STEP 2/5

Fit the K-Beater to the machine.

Line the square tin with parchment paper.

STEP 3/5

Add popcorn, rice krispies and pretzel pieces into the Mixer bowl.

Attach the Mixer bowl to the machine and fit the splashguard.

STEP 4/5

Add sugar and water to the saucepan.

Heat over a medium heat until light golden – do not stir.

Remove and turn off heat.

Add whipping cream and marshmallows and stir until melted.

Transfer the contents of the saucepan to the Mixer bowl.

Mix on speed Min for 1 minute.

Transfer the contents of the Mixer bowl to the square tin.

Use parchment paper to pat down and level the popcorn mixture.

STEP 5/5

Drizzle with chocolate.

Chill in the fridge for about 2 hours.

Cut into squares.
