Salmon Rillettes

Salmon rillettes is a lovely starter that is great served with water biscuits or seeded bread.

Ingredients

Servings: 8
Makes: 1

1000 g water
270 g salmon fillets, skinned, boned


200 g cream cheese
1 unit lemon, zest of
50 g smoked salmon
10 g chives, finely sliced
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  salt, to taste
  pepper, to taste


Instructions

STEP 1/4

Fit the Knife Blade to the CookEasy+ Bowl

Fit the CookEasy+ Bowl to the machine

STEP 2/4

Add the first of Ingredients 1 (water) into the bowl

Add the rest of Ingredients 1 (salmon) to the top tray of the steamer tray and assemble the steamer tray

Attach the lid and ensure the Filler Cap is not in place

Fit the steamer tray to the CookEasy +

Steam at 104°C for 20 minutes and let cool

STEP 3/4

Drain and dry the CookEasy+ Bowl and fit the Knife blade

Add Ingredients 2 (fromage frais, lemon zest, smoked salmon, chives, mustard, seasoning) into the bowl

Attach the Filler cap

Blend for 1 minute at speed 12

Transfer in the salmon fillets into the CookEasy + bowl

Blend for 10 seconds at speed 8

Transfer the rillettes mixture to a medium bowl and cover

Chill until set

STEP 4/4

Serve with crackers or thin slices of toasted bread
