Peanut Butter and Chocolate Filled Pull Apart Loaf

Ingredients

Servings: 24

For the dough
440 g whole milk
140 g caster sugar
15 g instant yeast
110 g unsalted butter, at room temperature, cubed
2 tsp salt
900 g plain flour
2  eggs, beaten

For the filling and decoration
  smooth peanut butter, as needed
  chocolate spread, as needed


Instructions

STEP 1/4

Grease a bundt tin (25 cm).

STEP 2/4

Fit the Dough Tool.
Add milk, caster sugar, yeast, butter, salt, flour and eggs into the Appliance bowl.
Knead for 2 minutes, on speed 1, until combined.
Knead for 8 minutes, on speed 2, until a dough has formed.
Remove the Dough Tool.
Prove for 1 hour at 30ºC, speed Off, until doubled in size.
Tip: Or use the Dough Proving preset if applicable.

STEP 3/4

Take a 30 g piece of dough and flatten into a circle.
Add 1 tsp peanut butter into the middle.
Close the dough around the filling and gently roll into a ball.
Place the dough ball into the bundt tin.
Take another 30 g piece of dough and flatten into a circle.
Add 1 tsp chocolate spread in the middle.
Close the dough around the filling and gently roll into a ball.
Place the dough ball into the bundt tin.
Repeat the same process with the rest of the dough, alternating between fillings.
Cover the dough balls with a tea towel.
Prove for 30 minutes, until doubled in size.

STEP 4/4

Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
Bake for 20 minutes at 200ºC, until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin for 5 minutes.
Turn out upside down onto a serving plate.
Drizzle with melted chocolate and peanut butter.

 

Serve.

 

Substitutions
Smooth peanut butter can be replaced with crunchy peanut butter.
