Preheat the oven to 175 degrees
Using the kMix Edition, using the whisk, work the diced butter with the icing sugar on speed 3/4
Add the salt, all the mandarin zest and the poppy seeds while beating
Add the 2 eggs and beat, increasing the speed to 5
Scrape the bowl well using a spatula, replace the whisk with the K beater then add the hazelnut powder and the flour and beat on speed 1/2, until the powders are incorporated
Film the ball of dough obtained and place it in the fridge for at least an hour
Then roll out the dough between 2 baking papers and place it in the cold
Cut out the biscuits using cookie cutters
2 openwork squares and 2 rectangles (to be able to pass the ribbon after baking) for the box, little men and Christmas trees, and stars to form the Christmas tree
Bake the cookies for about 15/20 minutes
Using a hand whisk, beat the whites with the icing sugar for a few minutes and set aside in a piping bag fitted with a plain tip 1 or 2.
Make a dry caramel and stick the box with this caramel on a round dish
Place sugar paste or marzipan on each biscuit using the same cutter for each biscuit
Stack the biscuits in the shape of stars, stacking them one on top of the other from the largest to the smallest to form a Christmas tree; glue them with royal icing in the centre
Place royal icing also on the ends, forming small balls; add a few sugar balls
Using the royal icing decorate the little men and the fir trees
Sprinkle with sugar balls and vermicelli to finish the decoration
