Ingredients

140 g wholemeal flour
140 g plain flour, plus extra for dusting
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp olive oil
180 g hot water
 as needed olive oil


Instructions

STEP 1/3

Fit the Lasagne Roller attachment to the machine
Adjust the setting to 0
Sprinkle some flour between the rollers

STEP 2/3

Add the flour, salt, 2 Tbsp of olive oil and the water into a large mixing bowl
Mix with a spoon until combined
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface
Knead for 10 minutes until a smooth dough forms
Flatten the dough into a disc

 

Transfer the dough into the Lasagne Roller attachment
Pass the dough through the rollers
Repeat passing the dough through the rollers, adjusting the setting down each time until you reach setting 4
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface
Cut out 8 equal circles.

STEP 3/3

Brush a large frying pan with a little oil
Place over a medium heat until hot
Heat each chapati on both sides until browned
