‘Pastina’ is Italian for tiny pasta, which, when vigorously combined with plenty of vegetable stock, cheese, and a couple of eggs, emulsifies into a deliciously rich, creamy bowl of comfort food. Use any shape of pastina you can, each piece of pasta should be about the same size as a grain of rice.

  1. Fit the Stir Tool
  2. Add the hot stock into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  3. Heat - 2 minutes, 110ºC, speed off
  4. Then add pasta
  5. Cook - 6 minutes, 110ºC, speed Stir 3
  6. Remove the splashguard and let cool – 2 minutes
  7. Add the ingredients into a small bowl
  8. Mix until smooth
  9. Gradually add the egg mixture into the appliance bowl and mix until thickened and creamy – 5 minutes, speed 2
  10. Season to taste with salt and pepper
  11. Serve
  12. Sprinkle with grated parmesan
