Vanilla Buttercream

A basic vanilla buttercream to decorate cakes and sandwich between layers. This recipe should make enough to fill and coat a two-layer 20 cm (8”) round cake.

250 g unsalted butter, cubed, room temperature

500 g icing sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 Tbsp milk

KZM35.000GY, KZM35.000RD, KZM35.000GR, K-Beater

Instructions

Step 1

Fit the K-Beater.

Add butter, sugar, vanilla extract and milk into the appliance bowl.

Mix for 2 minutes on speed 3 until smooth and then scrape the bowl.

Tip: Start the speed on Min and gradually increase speed.

Mix for 2 minutes on speed 1 until creamy.

Use as desired.
