Simple, easy to make dinner rolls. We have split the dough into 12 rolls to make smaller rolls, but if you would like larger rolls divide the dough into 6.

12 bread rolls
250 g whole milk, at room temperature
30 g unsalted butter, melted
1 egg
400 g plain flour
7 g instant yeast
30 g caster sugar
1 pinch salt
1 egg, beaten
Baking tray, KHC30.000WH, KHC30.050GY, KHC30.070GY, Dough Tool
Fit the Dough Tool.
Add milk, butter, egg, flour, yeast, sugar and salt into the appliance bowl.
Knead for about 6 minutes on speed Min until the dough has formed.
Remove the bowl from the machine and cover with a tea towel.
Prove for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface.
Divide the dough in 12 equal pieces.
Take one piece and gently pull the edges into the centre.
Turn the dough over and shape into a ball.
Repeat the same process with the remaining dough pieces.
Place the dough balls on the prepared baking tray and space them apart evenly.
Cover the dough with a damp tea towel.
Prove for 30 minutes until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 190ºC.
Brush the dough balls with beaten egg.
Bake for 20 minutes at 190ºC until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool.
Serve.
