Serves: Up to 8 people | Recipe course: Breads | Total time (min.): 50 |
80g sun-dried tomatoes
80g kalamata black olives, destoned
80g roasted red peppers
6 sprigs fresh oregano, leaves stripped
80g pecorino
400g self-raising flour
1 tsp salt
180ml beer
1 - Preheat your oven to 180°C.
2 - Fit your MultiPro Sense food processor with the mini bowl and knife blade. Add the sun-dried tomatoes, olives, roasted peppers and oregano leaves to the bowl. Pulse until everything is roughly chopped together.
3 - Remove the knife blade and fit the fine grating plate (you can leave the ingredients still in the mini bowl). Grate the pecorino on top of the other ingredients.
4 - Remove the mini bowl and leave aside for later.
5 - Place the main bowl on the food processor and fit the dough blade, then weigh the flour and salt directly into the bowl. Add the sun-dried tomato and pecorino mix from earlier to the flour and salt.
6 - Begin the machine on speed 2 and as the machine is running, pour the beer down the feed tube into the bowl, until the mixture just comes together into a craggy ball.
7 - Remove the dough to a lightly floured surface and gently knead together.
8 - Shape the dough into a ball and place onto a parchment lined baking tray. Flatten the ball slightly, into a thick disc and score with a sharp knife.
9 - Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, until risen and golden.
