Spicy Potatoes Side Dish

Ingredients

6  potatoes


3  olive oil
2  garlic cloves
2 tsp. coriander seeds
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
2 tsp. ground turmeric
1  lime, juiced


  fresh coriander, as needed
  fresh parsley, as needed
20 grams dill
  seasoning, as needed


Instructions

STEP 1/6

Peel the potatoes and cut to fit the feed tube.

Peel, destem and crush the garlic.

Destalk and finely chop the herbs.

STEP 2/6

Assemble the Food Processor bowl onto the power unit.

Fit the Dicing disc, attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place.

STEP 3/6

Fit the dicing grid into the feed tube.

With the machine running, dice Ingredients 1 (potatoes) into the Food Processor bowl using the dicing pusher.

Dice on speed Max and firmly press down.

Transfer content of the Food Processor bowl into a clean large mixing bowl, batch by batch.

Add the potatoes to a large saucepan of salted boiling water.

Bring to the boil and cook for about 5 minutes until just cooked but still firm.

Drain the potatoes through a colander and let cool.

STEP 4/6

Add the first item of Ingredients 2 (oil) in a large frying pan.

Heat over a medium heat.

Add the next 3 items of Ingredients 2 (garlic, flakes, seeds) to the pan.

Cook over a medium heat for about 3 minutes.

Add the remaining items of Ingredients 2 (turmeric, lime) to the pan.

Stir to combine.

Transfer potatoes to the frying pan.

Stir until well coated.

STEP 5/6

Add the first 3 items of Ingredients 3 (herbs) to the frying pan.

Cook for about 4 minutes.

Add the remaining item of Ingredients 3 (seasoning) to the pan.

Stir to combine.

Remove from the heat and let cool.

Serve.

STEP 6/6

Garnish with red pepper flakes and fresh herbs.
