Healthy Red Velvet Smoothie

A sweet and healthy smoothie.
Ingredients
- 1 medium raw beetroot (approx 80g), peeled
- 6-8 medium strawberries (approx 100g), hulled
- 1 large madjool date
- 250ml unsweetened almond milk
- 1 level tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp maple syrup
Method
- Chop the beetroot into small pieces and roughly chop the strawberries and date before adding to the beaker
- Add the almond milk, cacao powder and maple syrup
- Blend until smooth.
