Cappuccino Traybake

A great treat for a coffee afternoon with friends. We have decorated with grated chocolate, but you could try cocoa powder, cinnamon or chocolate covered coffee beans.




  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Grease and line a clean rectangular pan with parchment paper
  3. Attach K Beater
  4. Add butter, plain flour, baking powder, golden caster sugar, egg, natural yogurt, vanilla extract, cocoa powder and coffee to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted until well combined - 4 min, Speed 2
  6. Pour mixture into rectangular pan
  7. Bake until skewer tests clean - 30 min, 180°C
  8. Remove from oven and let cool
  9. Clean Kenwood Bowl
  10. Attach Whisk
  11. Add icing sugar and mascarpone cheese to the Kenwood Bowl
  12. Mix with splashguard fitted until smooth - 1 min, Speed Max
  13. Transfer icing to cake
  14. Sprinkle with chocolate
  15. Cut into squares
  16. Serve
