What happens if my Cooking Chef Connect loses power when remotely operating through an app recipe (e.g. accidentally unplugged, power cut)?

When the appliance regains power and is switched on, it will automatically go into stand-by mode:

  • Wait for the appliance to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network (this could take up to 1 minute).
  • If power was lost during a cooking stage you may need to repeat it, though the time setting can be manually adjusted on the appliance.
  • If the app displays an error message when you try to continue a recipe, try leaving the recipe, re-entering it, and continuing from where you left off.

Important: If food has been left in the bowl for more than 2 hours without power, the food may be unsafe to eat and should be disposed of.
