What is the Kenwood GO made from?

The top cover and pedestal is manufactured from die-cast aluminium alloy. The mixing bowl is made from stainless steel. Other non structural parts are made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polypropylene (PP) and styrene acrylonitrile resin (SAN).

What is the maximum dough load I can do on my Kenwood GO? For how long and how often?

Accepted Answer

For making bread, the maximum dough load is 800g of flour using speeds 1-2 for 5 minutes. For enriched dough, such as for brioche, 700g of flour or 1.5kg total dough when enriched on speeds 1-2 for 5-10 minutes is the maximum dough load usage. Between heavy loads, the machine should be rested for a minimum of 15 minutes between heavy loads.

What’s the best way to clean the Kenwood GO appliance?

To clean the kitchen machine safely, firstly ensure it is switched off and unplugged. The machine can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The bowl is dishwasher safe. It is recommended to wash the K-Beater, Whisk and Dough Tool by hand. All available attachments are dishwasher safe other than the blade assemblies which should be hand washed but not fully submerged in water.

No, the KZM35 attachments are bespoke designs matched to the overall compact product design. Existing Chef attachments cannot be used.

The bowl capacity is large enough for 800g of flour or 1.5kg of enrched dough (large enough for 2 medium loaves), 8 egg whites (capacity for 40 meringue nests), 750ml of cream (capacity for 1 Pavlova or 8-10 servings of Eton Mess), and 1.6kg of cake batter, which can make a batch of 48 cupcakes.

What is the difference between Kenwood GO and the Chef or Prospero ranges?

When compared to our Kenwood Chef and Prospero+ kitchen machines, Pablo has a larger dough kneading capacity with the ability to add 200 - 300g more flour for bread making than Prospero+ but the rest of the bowl capacity quantities are similar or the same when compared. Pablo has a smaller capacity than the Kenwood Chef range, with around 20% smaller volume on cakes. Pablo has less attachments (only 2) compared to the Chef and Prospero+ range. Pablo has an easy carry handle and is under 30cm in height, making it ideal for storage and therefore is smaller than Chef and Prospero+.

If the attachments are not working when on the outlet hub, check whether the attachment is firmly connected to the outlet hub and see whether there are any flashing lights on the control dial, which will indicate whether there is an error which needs rectifying.

To fit the bowl tools to the product, firstly lift and lock the product head in the fully open position. The bowl tools can then be inserted into the exposed shaft opening and locked by turning the bowl tool anti-clockwise.
