Utensils

Bowl small, Tart tin 26 cm (10.25"), Parchment paper, Rolling Pin, Baking beans

Instructions

Step 1

Grease and flour a clean tart pan

Fit midi blade to kCook bowl

Add all purpose flour, butter and salt to the kCook bowl

Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi

Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted

Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min 30 sec, speed 7

Add water to the kCook bowl

Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 7

Transfer content of kCook bowl to work surface

Step 2

Knead lightly

Wrap with plastic wrap

Refrigerate in fridge - 20 min

Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick

Transfer content of work surface to tart pan

Prick

Chill in fridge - 10 min

Pre-heat oven - approx 1 min, 190°C

Remove

Line with parchment paper

Fill with pie weights

Bake - 12 min, 190°C

Remove pie weights and continue

Brush with egg

Bake - 3 min, 170°C

Let cool

Use
