MultiPro Compact: What’s the difference between the drive shaft and the tool shaft?

The drive shaft is the short spindle which sits on top of the power unit and underneath the bowl. It transfers the power to the tool. The tool shaft is the main body of the in-bowl tools, which sits inside the bowl. The in-bowl tools (e.g. Knife blade) lock on to the tool shaft.
