Hand Mixers are best used for recipes such as dough and batter mixes. The way the twin beaters work allows air to be incorporated into a mixture so it will give a light and fluffy batters andthin andlightcreams.

Can I still obtain spares for my old Chefette

Old Chefettes are often over 40 years old and regrettably the spares are no longer available. It may be worth trying an auction site such as eBay for second hand parts if you are keen to keep your product in working use, although bear in mind the age of this product. Alternatively, we have recently reintroduced the Chefette to the market, after strong customer demand. The HM400 and the HM680 is available from all good retailers.

Does my product contain BPA?

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical that is used primarily in the manufacture of polycarbonate (PC) raw material plastic. PC is a plastic that is often used in mouldings for food packaging; for example in drinks bottles.We do not use polycarbonate in the manufacture of any parts which come into contact with food, and we will not release a product for sale unless tests show that NO BPA is detected.
