Ask us a question

What happens if my kCook Multi Smart loses power when remotely operating through a Kenwood World app recipe (e.g. accidentally unplugged, power cut)?

When the appliance regains power and is switched on, it will automatically go into stand-by mode:

  • Wait for the appliance to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network (this could take up to 1 minute).
  • If power was lost during a cooking stage you may need to repeat it, though the time setting can be manually adjusted on the appliance.

Important:

If food has been left in the bowl for more than 2 hours without power, the food may be unsafe to eat and should be disposed of.
