Chia seeds are rich in Omega 3 oil which reduces inflammation, working on a cellular level to keep skin healthy.

Ingredients

 

  • 3-4 tbsp chia seeds
  • 250ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tsp baobab powder
  • 2 tbsp cranberries, dried
  • 2 tbsp goji berries, dried
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

 

Method

  • Goji berries contain unique compounds most often referred to as polysaccharides which enhance the body’s ability to resist disease and support a healthy immune system. The berries are also a rich source of vitamin C and zinc, both of which are known to protect against disease and aid in recovery.Place the almond milk into a saucepan and add the seeds; leave to soak for at least 30 minutes.
  • Place onto a medium heat and bring slowly to a simmer.
  • Allow to simmer for several minutes until thickened.
  • For a smoother finish place into the Blend-X Pro, and then select the fine chop programme.
  • Stir the baobab powder into the chai seeds once they have soaked.
  • Place onto a medium heat and bring slowly to a simmer.
  • Allow to simmer for several minutes until thickened.
  • For a smoother finish place into the Blend-X Pro and select the coarse chop programme.
  • To serve, top with berries and pumpkin seeds.
