Hot Cross Bun and Butter Pudding

This twist on a classic pudding is a great dessert for Easter dinner or just to use up and leftover buns.

  1. Pre-heat oven - 170°C
  2. Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
  3. Add double cream and milk to the kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  6. Heat with filler cap removed - 2 min, 80°C, speed 1
  7. Then add egg, golden caster sugar and vanilla extract to the kCook bowl
  8. Mix with filler cap removed - 3 min, speed 5
  9. Add hot cross buns to a clean cutting board
  10. Spread with butter
  11. Transfer bread to glass baking dish
  12. Sprinkle with marzipan
  13. Brush with marmalade
  14. Transfer custard to glass baking dish
  15. Bake - 50 min, 170°C
  16. Serve
