Pink Grapefruit Curd

A tangy curd great for desserts like tarts. We've made ours with bottled juice, but if you can, use fresh juice if you can get it. Store this curd in a sterilised jar in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.

Istruzioni

Step 1

Add cornflour and water into a bowl, mix by hand to combine then set aside.

Step 2

Fit the Whisk Tool.

Add juice, sugar, yolks and butter into the appliance bowl.

Transfer the cornflour mix into the appliance bowl and attach the lid without the filler cap.

Whisk for 8 minutes at 80ºC, on speed 6, until thickened.

Transfer the curd into a jar and let cool until set.

 

Serve.

Tip: This can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
