Beef Stew

Appliances Used
Oven (MO690)

1 kg beef stew
2 big onions
4 carrots
4 potatoes
4 sticks celery
1 box chicken soup (375ml)
1 pack shitake mushrooms
2 tbsp corn flour
3 tbsp cooking oil

1. Fry beef cubes lightly in a saucepan.

2. Cut onions, carrots, potatoes, celery and mushrooms into big cubes.

3. Set oven to lower heat and adjust temperature to 200ºC.

4. Place beef, vegetables and mushrooms into oven bakeware or drip tray.

5. Pour in chicken soup and cooking oil. Stir well.

6. Place dish into pre-heated oven to stew for 1 – 2 hours.

7. When beef stew is almost cooked, mix corn flour with 4 tbsp water. Stir well before pouring into beef stew.

8. Stir whole tray of stew. Continue to stew until beef is tender.
