Black & White Chocolate Cheesecake

Filling ingredients

250g cream cheese

60g caster sugar

3 eggs

120g melted white chocolate

1 tbsp cocoa powder


Crust ingredients

120g plain flour

1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder

90g brown sugar

90g butter

1 egg yolk

1/2 tsp vanilla essence



1. Place flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar and butter into a mixing bowl. Using "K" beater, mix until crumbly

2. Add egg yolk and vanilla essence and continue to mix until it becomes a dough

3. Line base of a 8" removable base cake tin with aluminium foil. Preheat oven to 160 deg Celsius

4. Press dough lightly onto base and bake for about 20 minutes

5. In another bowl, use "K" beater to beat cream cheese and caster sugar until light and creamy. Add eggs and continue to whisk until well combined

6. Add melted white chocolate into the cheese mixture and mix evenly

7. Divide cheese mixture into 3 portions

8. Add cocoa powder to 1 portion

9. Pour 1 portion of white cheese mixture onto baked crust and bake for about 15 minutes

10. After the 1st layer is done, pour in the cocoa cheese mixture and bake for 15 minutes

11. After 2nd layer is done, pour in the remaining white cheese mixture and bake for another 15 minutes

12. When cake is baked, let it cool in the oven. Remove from oven after 1 hour

13. Chill in refrigerator before serving (preferably 6 hours, overnight)
