Pâte Brisée

Ingredients

Makes: 440

125 grams butter
250 grams plain flour
5 grams salt


1  egg yolk
50 grams water, chilled


Instructions

STEP 1/4

Cut the butter into cubes and leave at room temperature to soften.

STEP 2/4

Fit the K beater to the machine.

STEP 3/4

Add Ingredients 1 (butter, flour, salt) into the Mixer bowl.

Attach the Mixer bowl to the machine and fit the splash guard.

Mix on speed 2 for 2 minutes.

STEP 4/4

Add Ingredients 2 (egg yolk, water) into the Mixer bowl.

Mix on speed 2 for 1 minute .

Transfer the pastry to a worksurface.

Knead until the mixture comes together.

Wrap in plastic wrap.

Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Use.
