Onion Bhaji

  • 3 red onions sliced finely sliced
  • 1 ½ cups of chickpea flour depending on how moist the onions are.
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • ½ cup chopped coriander
  • Soda water (approximately 700ml)


  1. Place onions, chickpea flour, cumin, sweet chilli sauce & coriander into a bowl. 
  2. Add soda water slowly until the right consistency is achieved. 
  3. Season with salt and pepper. 
  4. Serve with a spiced chutney or relish.
