INGREDIENTS:

1 vanilla pod
200ml milk
3 tsp instant yeast
70g golden caster sugar
500g bread flour
30g non-fat powdered milk
½ tsp salt
2 eggs (large)
1 egg yolk (large, reserve the white for the filling)
3 tbsp softened butter
FILLING:
100g toasted walnut pieces
60g light brown sugar
100g golden icing sugar
1 ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground cardamom
¼ tsp salt
1 egg white (reserved from dough ingredients)
Egg wash – 1 egg whisked with 1 tbsp milk
Extra butter (for greasing the tin)
Extra flour (for dusting)
