Chocolate Fudge

Making chocolate fudge can be tricky but by following this recipe in the Cooking Chef the tasty treat can be created quickly and easily.

Preparation time:  10 minutes plus resting
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 40 pieces

Attachments: Flexi Beater


  1. Attach the Flexi Beater. Place the chocolate, the butter and the condensed milk into the bowl. Set the temperature to 80ºC and the speed to 2. Allow to cook for 7 minutes.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and beat for 2 minutes or until thicken.
  3. Pour into a 20cm x 20cm x 1.5cm tray lined with greaseproof paper. Allow to cool at least 2 hours in the fridge before slicing.

Cook's tip: Dust with icing sugar


Chocolate (64% cocoa solids, broken into pieces) 500g
Condensed milk 400g
Vanilla extract 10ml (2 tsp)
Butter 70g

  1. Recipe rating: 3 of 5 Chocolatey, but not fudgey.

    Delicious dark chocolate, and good brickette pieces when cut. However, no real fudge characteristic, despite lots of beating hoping for aeration or granulation. It will still disappear though!
