Tuna Steak with Salsa Verde

Very refreshing, but don’t just confine the wonderful Salsa Verde to accompanying tuna, it goes well with any oily fish and even with sliced roast lamb.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes


  1. Attach the knife blade to the food processor.
  2. Add the parsley, basil, anchovies, capers, garlic, white wineand seasoning and chop until even.
  3. With the machine running slowly pour in the olive oil untilyou get a thick sauce.
  4. Store the salsa in the fridge until needed.
  5. Pan fry the tuna steaks until cooked.
  6. Drizzle the salsa verde over the tuna.
  7. Chef’s tip: You should ideally serve the tuna steaks medium, they should be a little pink in the centre.



  • 15g parsley
  • 10g basil
  • 6 anchovy fillets
  • 3 tbsp capers
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp white wine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100g extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 tuna steaks
