Simple Chocolate Mousse - MKR

  • 4 yolks eggs 
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar 
  • 600mls thickened cream 
  • 400g good-quality dark chocolate, melted  
  • Grated chocolate, to serve

  1. Attach the whisk to your Kenwood kitchen machine
  2. Add eggs and sugar to the bowl. Place on high speed and whip for 3-4 minutes or until thick and doubled in volume. Set aside. 
  3. In a clean bowl pour cream. Using the whisk attachment whip cream for 1 minute or until soft peaks form.
  4. Remove the whisk and attach the folding tool. 
  5. Add melted chocolate and egg mixture back to the bowl. 
  6. Place on the folding speed for 1 minute or until only faint ribbons of colour remain. 
  7. Divide the mixture into serving bowls. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
