Blender Hollandaise Sauce  - MKR

  • 3 egg yolks 
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice 
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 
  • Pinch cayenne pepper 
  • 200g butter, melted ( the butter must still be hot for the recipe to work) 
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste


  1. Add yolks, lemon juice, salt and cayenne pepper into the jug your Kenwood Blender. Secure the lid. 
  2. Place on low speed for 10 seconds. 
  3.  Increase speed to medium. Remove the cap in the lid. 
  4. Slowly pour the hot butter through the hole in the blender lid. Once you get down to the milk solids, stop. At this point the hollandaise will be thick and creamy. 
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 
  6. Serve.
