Hand Blender with Masher HB724

HB724 Manuals/ FAQs/ Support

  • My attachments will not stay in the motor unit of my hand blender

If you are unable to fit any of the attachments to your hand blender there may be an obstruction within the attachment area of the hand unit.

Check inside the base of hand unit and ensure it is completely white and there is no obstruction visible within the gap.

If you see anything inside this area, carefully remove it with tweezers or a similar tool. Your hand blender should now accept tools.

  • Does the Triblade hand blender contain rubber?

No. The handle is made from TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) and does not contain natural rubber.

  • How long can I run my hand blender for?

It is important that the motor unit is not run for longer than 50 seconds in any four minute period, particularly for heavy mixtures. In the unlikely event you need to use the hand blender for longer ensure it is allowed to rest.

Even though it is whisking lighter foods such as eggs and cream, avoid using the whisk attachment for longer than 3 minutes in any 10 minute period.

  • Where can I buy additional attachments for my hand blender?

Additional attachments, such as a masher, whisk or chopper unit, if available for your model, can be purchased from Kenwood Spares. The Triblade HB720 attachments will fit the Triblade HB710 series of hand blender.

Spares and accessories for Kenwood products, including many of our older products, are available from Kenwood Spares via their website at http://www.4kenwood.co.uk/. Alternatively they can be contacted by calling 0844 557 3653.

In either case please have your model number ready when ordering, which is embossed on the underside of the power unit.

  • Will a hand blender suit my needs?

Hand blenders are very versatile tools - they are easy to use and easy to store. The main attachment is for blending small amounts, but many come with a whisk attachment for whisking light creams and making mayonnaise. They are designed to be used for quick tasks.

Some hand blenders in our range come with a mini chopper, which offer you the ability to chop without liquidising, for example for salsa and dips. Some models also include a masher attachment for deliciously smooth mashed potatoes - other cooked vegetables can be mashed as well.

The Soup XL pan blender, where supplied, can be used directly in the pan after the cooking process, although extra care should always be taken when working with hot ingredients.

  • The attachment on my hand blender has become discoloured. What can I do?

Some foods, for example carrot or tomato, may discolour the plastic. Rubbing with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil may help to remove discolouration.

There are plastics that will resist this type of food staining but brittleness and other factors rule them out for general use.

  • Will Triblade HB720 series attachments fit my kMix hand blender?

The attachments for the HB710/720 series hand blenders will not fit the kMix hand blender.
