  • Can I cancel my toast at any time?

    Yes you can, just press the cancel button.
  • Can I cook toasties in my toaster (Toastie bags)?

    Normally you can not but with the Kenwood Virtu toaster you can do it.
  • Can I toast bagels or other bread types?

    Yes you can toast bagels (some of our toaster have bagel feature) and other bread types.
  • How do I clean my toaster?

    Before cleaning make sure you have unplugged your toaster and let it cool down. Then slide out the crumb tray clean it and then replace and try to do this regularly. Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth, and then dry.
  • How does the Peek & View system work

    The Peek & View system allows you to view your toast without stopping the toasting cycle.
  • What bread can I put in my toaster?

    It is better to use slices of bread and dry/stale bread toasts more quickly than fresh bread and thinly sliced bread toasts more quickly than thickly sliced bread.
  • What does the de-frost button do?

    The de-frost button allows you to de-frost your bread.
  • What is a removable crumb tray?

    It is a tray at the bottom of the toast that you can remove, clean and then replace.
  • What is browning control?

    The browning control allows you to choose how much you want your bread toasted.

  • How can I get my Chef / Major serviced?

  • Where can I find my serial number / date code?

    Normally on the underside of the appliance often near the cable entry point. The date code will be a series of 4 digits such as OM44.

  • How do I clean my kettle?

    Before cleaning make sure you have unplugged your kettle and let it cool down. Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry. Do not use abrasives because they will scratch the metal and plastic surfaces. Even though your kettle comes with a filter, you still need to clean the inside (and the filter) regularly. Remove the filter by holding the tab and then lifting the filter out. Regular descaling of the flat element will improve the performance of your kettle. Supermarket proprietary descalers or vinegar can be used to descale your kettle.

  • What time is the Kenwood Shop open?

    The Kenwood Shop, Located in Havant, Hampshire is open from 9am – 1.00pm and 1.30pm – 4.30pm Mon – Sat

  • What time is Connect Distribution open for ordering?

    Connect Distribution is open from 8.30am – 8pm

  • What parts are dishwasher proof?

    Many Kenwood Products have dishwashable parts, however it is often a product specific feature so for more information see the individual product pages. The motor housing of a product is never dishwashable.

  • Why are bowls and lids etc not covered by the guarantee?

    No removable parts are covered by the guarantee if they are dropped, or similar. The guarantee covers mechanical parts and workmanship.
