Quick Yeast Bread.
Freshly baked bread in just 40 minutes! The aroma will tempt family and guests.
350g flour 3ml origanum
1 packet instant dry yeast 5ml parsley
5ml salt 2ml sugar 250ml lukewarm water
Combine flour, yeast,salt,and herbs in the Kenwood Chef bowl with the dough hook. With the machine on slow speed, add enough of the water to form a soft but not sticky dough.Mix on speed 1 or 2 for about 4 minutes, or until dough is smooth and elastic. Turn dough out on a lightly floured board and cover with a dish towel. Let dough rest for about 20 minutes. roll dough into an oval shape and sprinkle with chopped garlic, fresh herbs,coarse salt and a little olive oil. Bake at 200C for 15 - 20 min.
This dough is good for pizza bases.Divide dough in half and roll out thinly in two circles,then top with your favourite fillings.
