Peanut Cookies

Appliances Used

Kitchen Machine, Oven

250g butter
200g caster sugar
200g ground peanuts
300g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
200g skinless whole peanuts
2 egg yolks (for brushing)

1. Cream butter and caster sugar until sugar melts.
2. Add ground peanuts and mix evenly.
3. Mix in the plain flour and baking powder.
4. Mix into a dough.
5. Preheat oven to 170ºC for 20 minutes.
6. Shape dough into 10g size balls and slightly flatten it.
7. Use a small brush to brush egg yolk on cookies, press half peanut on top, and   brush on peanut again.
8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 170ºC per tray.
