  • Can I get additional dies for my Metal Pasta Maker?

  • Can I process hot ingredients?

    All liquids must be cooled to room temperature before placing in the blender.
  • How do I adjust the paddle on my Colander and Sieve?

    To adjust the paddle height 1 Unplug. 2 Raise the mixer head and insert the paddle. 3 Hold the paddle, then loosen the nut. 4 Lower the mixer head. 5 Adjust the height by turning the paddle. The paddle blades should bend slightly against the sieve. 6 Raise the head, hold the paddle and tighten the nut.
  • How do I clean my Meat Grinder?

    Loosen the ring nut manually or with the spanner and dismantle. Wash all the parts in hot soapy water, then dry. Don’t wash any part in the dishwasher. Never use a soda solution. Re-assemble. Wipe the screens with vegetable oil, then wrap in greaseproof paper to prevent discolouring/rusting. Place the mincer in the storage box and cover with the tray. You can pull the lid off the pusher and store the sausage and kebbe attachments inside.
  • How do I clean my Pasta Maker attachment?

    Loosen the ring nut manually or with the spanner and dismantle. Use the cleaning tool to remove all dough. Allow the dough to dry in the screens before using the cleaning tool. Wash in hot, soapy water or on the top rack of your dishwasher
  • How do I clean my Roto Food Cutter?

    Dismantle the attachment. Wash all parts in hot soapy water, then dry. Do not wash in a dishwasher.
  • How do I clean myCentrifugal Juicer?

    Dismantle before cleaning. Do not wash any parts in your dishwasher. Some foods, e.g. carrot, will discolour the plastic. Rubbing with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil helps remove discolouring. Wash other parts by hand, then dry.
  • How do I clean mySlicer/Shredder?

    Wash the plates in hot soapy water, but be careful of the blades as they are very sharp. Wipe the main base with a damp cloth and then dry.
  • How do I get additional plates for my Slicer/Shredder?

    To buy a plate not included in your pack, contact the dealer from whom you purchased your appliance.
  • How long can I keep my ice cream made by my Ice Cream Maker for?

    Ice cream made from raw ingredients should not be kept for over a week. But Ice cream tastes best fresh so do not make too far in advance ever.
  • How long can I keep pasta made by my Pasta Maker before cooking it?

    Cook macaroni and rigatoni within 4 hours. Otherwise they become brittle and snap.
  • How should I clean my Citrus Juicer?

    Wash the cone, sieve and bowl by hand, then dry thoroughly. Alternatively wash in the dishwasher (top rack only). Never immerse the connector in water, wipe over with a damp cloth.
  • I have never made sausages in my Meat Grinder before. What tips can you give?

    Ask your butcher for sausage skin or mail order from the Natural Casing Company Ltd, PO Box 133, Farnham, Surrey GU10 5HT, England. Use pig/hog skin on the large nozzle and sheep/lamb skin on the small nozzle. Or, instead of using skin, roll the extruded sausages in breadcrumbs or seasoned flour before cooking. If you’re using skin, soak it in cold water for 30 minutes first, then open it up with a jet of water. Put your chosen nozzle under a running tap and pull the skin onto the nozzle.
  • Pulp has stopped coming out of my Centrifugal Juicer. What should I do?

    Switch off and unclog the bowl.
  • The feed tube is blocked on my Meat Grinder or Pasta Maker. How can I remedy this?

    If the feed tube becomes clogged, use the end of the spanner/pusher handle to push the mix onto the scroll. Don’t use anything other than the spanner handle and don’t push too hard. Never let the feed tube fill up.
  • What is kebbe? I have an attachment for it with my Meat Grinder

    Kebbe is a traditional Middle Eastern dish: deep-fried lamb-and-bulgur wheat parcels with a minced meat filling. It can be made with a Meat Grinder.
  • What is the difference between the screens on my Meat Grinder?

    Use the fine screen for raw meat; fish; small nuts; or cooked meat for shepherd’s pie or meat loaves. Use the medium and coarse screens for raw meat; fish; nuts; vegetables; hard cheese; or peel or dried fruit for puddings and marmalade.
  • What is the maximum amount of fruit that can be processed in one batch in my Centrifugal Juicer?

    Don’t process more than 4.5kg (10lb) at a time. Switch off for 10 minutes between batches.
  • Why do some fruits produce bitter juice in my Centrifugal Juicer?

    Citrus fruits will produce bitter juice because their pith gets processed too. The Kenwood citrus press attachment is recommended for citrus fruits.
