Recipe for Kenwood by Claire Turnbull

Tips:

  • You can make the coulis in bulk and freeze it.
  • Make into ice cubes to add fruity flavour to sparkling water!
  • Serve with yoghurt or ice-cream made from frozen bananas (Blend in a Kenwood Food Processor
  • Serve with sliced whole fruit chunks as a dip. Melon works very well! A great light starter for a dinner party or refreshing dessert. 

Ingredients

  • 400g berries
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2-3 tbsp honey

Method:

  1. Set up Kenwood chef / cooking chef with the sieve attachment, using the coarse sieve.
  2. Add the berries and the honey to the top and turn your Kenwood chef / cooking chef to full speed. After a few minutes, the smooth fruit coulis will be in the bowl below the sieve and the pips/skins from the berries will be left on the top which you can discard.
  3. Add the lemon juice to the bowl, stir quickly and it’s done!
